Working in tv commercials is always a challenge. There is inevitably a specialty build that we have little time to complete. Finding a company that can not only accommodate a fast turnaround, but provide an excellent product is a tough call--but West Coast Awning filled the bill and provided a beautiful commercial awning that not only fit our design but pleased the advertising agency and client. Not an easy task! The team headed by Alfred was efficient and professional and the work flawless.
We gave them a 4 day turnaround from beginning to end installation--including a weekend to pull it off. They were obliging and reassuring.
Look no further if you have need for an awning. These guys are the real deal!

This company has now done three projects for us and they are excellent. The first was a motorized retractable awning that nearly doubled the size of our patio. The quality was excellent and after 10 years everything still works perfectly.
The second project was a complete patio cover. We installed it near the beach to replace a wood patio cover. They installed an alumni wood product and after 5 years, the patio still looks like new. We just wash it down when it gets dusty and it looks great!
A month ago, we needed to cover an area where we store bikes. This time they custom fabricated an aluminum frame with a fabric shade. It's been great even in high winds and rain.
The company is extremely reliable. Alfred is very knowledgeable and delivered all three projects on time and with great quality. I highly recommend them!

This review is a little late, we had west coast do our awning after getting a couple quotes, Alfred the owner actually came back out after the original quote and design to take a look himself and suggest some changes that would really make the ascetics of the awning look better- his guys came out and wow this is where I was impressed, they had a small army of guys and each installer had his own job, this was the most impressive part of the install as they were extremely efficient polite and cleaned up really well. Quote came in about equal to other quotes but the material west coast uses seems more durable (Dura wood) also they installed some electrical outlets for speakers and a ceiling fan over the dinner table.

After much research for a new patio cover, my wife and I decided on West Coast Awning, it may be the best decision we ever made. Alfred and his company promised and smooth install and a beautiful patio cover. West Coast Awning and Alfred OVER DELIVERED. What a wonderful patio and, no real problems. His team that demolished our old wood patio, and the 4 man team the installed the new aluminum patio cover is well made, solid, BEAUTIFUL. Thank you Alfred

I didn't get a chance to write a review earlier after they completed the job, but here it is: Alfred and his wife are the best! They were patient with us even with our indecision. We left the design decision to them and were impressed. We initially were concerned of the height but got used to it. We've received many complements from our neighbors on the job. About the work: They got it done quick. They worked with the schedule of the roofer which was very helpful! The only thing I wished they would've done is use one of those magnet things to pick up the tiny pieces of metal but i solved with a broom.
Our house looks great and I'm so glad I spent the extra (which wasn't that much compared to wood) to work with them for an awning that will last longer and I don't have to paint!

I cannot say enough about West Coast Awning. RELIABLE, HONEST, REASONABLE AND BEAUTIFUL WORK. Alfred was professional and his workers were excellent. I chose his company because of the reviews. They showed up on time and worked long hours to get our patio finished fast. They cleaned up every night and done a super great job. I wish every business worked like this. West Coast Awning has become our go-to company for any work we do in our back yard. Monika and Alfred of West Coast Awning are so easy to work with, they are honest and fair priced with the best quality products available. They have now worked on three separate projects for us and they've all turned out just perfectly!
Our outdoor spaces are now like additional square footage that we live in everyday thanks to the patio cover structures, lighting, and automatic retractable shades that West Coast Awnings has installed. West Coast Awning staff are always prompt, professional and able to make my ideas come to fruition.
